Five steps and Maintain Success
The therapy process is designed as five steps with five sets of therapy sounds, instead of just one step. This simplifies implementation for the human handler. Then you seamlessly enter the ongoing Maintain Success future program which ensures ongoing success for the cat.
The steps are implemented in exactly the same way. The only difference is that the audio files provided are pre-set to the right volume level for the step: From very, very low in Step 1 and to the full volume in Step 5. Access to the steps is managed through the steps, to ensure correct implementation. This makes setting the volume and playing at correct levels much simpler and easier, and also safer.
Four programs for different needs
WeStopFear is offered in four programs for different animal types. They differ mostly in terms of how many sounds the subject is getting used to. The three comprehensive programs are More, Advanced and Full Care, and they offer several features that the Basic program does not.

Recommended for outdoor cats: Advanced program
Outdoor cats are in more noisy locations than indoor cats, so you want a very solid and good therapy with numerous sounds.
The Advanced program offers a selection of therapy sounds considerably greater than any noise phobia therapy solution available previously. It is designed to give an extensive noise therapy where that is needed.
In terms of number of therapy sounds, the Advanced program is approximately 2-3 times more extensive than any noise phobia therapy solutions that has been available before. Only the Full Care program of WeStopFear (meant for horses and service dogs) is more extensive.
A note on sounds in the outdoor cats program: The key approach in noise phobia therapy is that the pets or horses should not be scared of sounds that they don't need to be scared of. The flip side of the coin is that we should not try to let them be not scared of sounds that they need to be scared of. It is clear that traffic is one of the greatest threats to outdoor cats, and it is not better if they are carefree and indifferent about traffic sounds. Thus, the outdoor cats solution differs from others, that it was prepared especially with traffic sounds not included.

Other Options for Outdoor Cats
Other options are the More program, Full Care program, and Basic program.
If the situations that your outdoor cat finds it in are relatively quiet and simple, for instance outside city center in a more rural environment, then the More program could be sufficient for you.
The Full Care program is mainly meant for riding horses that need the most extensive habituation, and for specially trained service dogs. It is probably unnecessary for outdoor cats, but it will do no harm if you want to.
The Basic program is also an option. This is a solid foundational program that features a similar number of therapy sounds as most noise phobia therapy solutions that have been available previously. However, the higher programs offer potentially better protection with a greater number of sounds, and also with several features that are not in the Basic program.
