Why become an affiliate?

WeStopFear is the first actual programmed system in noise phobia therapy, with carefully thought out process architecture, with guardrails, precautionary limits and a system of reminders and encouragement. The goal is to make noise phobia therapy simpler, easier and safer, to greatly increase the number of pet and horse handlers that conduct noise phobia therapy. This would ideally improve the situation among pets in this regard: Fewer pets and horses who would encounter unnecessary fear of common noises, and less serious cases for those who did, and a greater proportion of pets and horses that would be completely free from this problem. This would increase happiness and safety for both animals and human handlers.

Affiliates will use their connection and trust among their audience to help further this goal, and make an income as well.

WeStopFear was developed without outside investors, grants or loans, so it is really important to get as many paid members as possible to recoup the cost invested and years of work without any pay at all.

Who can become affiliates?

The idea is that clubs and organizations serving pets and horses, who have a good number of members which they can contact via email or in live events, are a good fit for becoming affiliates. Also pet and equestrian influencers with an audience that they can reach in an economical manner. Applications for becoming an affiliate will be vetted based on those criteria.

Special requirements regarding the promotional message

The affiliates will introduce the WeStopFear noise phobia therapy system to their audiences, and encourage them to consider becoming members, to do this for their pets or horses. It is very important to broadcast a honest message that is truthful, and does not make promises that perhaps cannot be met in all instances. Thus, affiliates can and can not:

  • They can say that WeStopFear is the first programmed system in history with new kind of process steps.
  • They can say that the WeStopFear is developed with the goal that the majority of users will see the system as being easier,  simpler, safer, more natural and more bearable.
  • They can say that people actually think that WeStopFear is a better system, when verified, independent reviews have been published.
  • They can not say that it is certain that all pets and horses will be 100% secure to be free from this problem, if their owners become members and conduct these methods for them. Such a promise cannot be given.

In short, giving wild promises and guarantees that for instance a riding horse will never become scared of anything, and will become a 100% safe horse, after noise phobia therapy has been conducted, must not be included in promotions for WeStopFear.

How much money can one make as an affiliate?

This depends of course on how many would sign up through an affiliate's dedicated affiliate link, what kind of programs they would enter, and how long the member remains a paid member. The affiliates will receive their share on the price paid by the member as long as the member remains a paid member.

The affiliate percentage will be generous. The starting idea is that 30% of the proceedings* would go to the affiliate. This is much higher than the affiliate percentage in common affiliate programs for goods, which are often 1 to 10% (in one of the best known affiliate program online).

What will this cost? How much will/should we spend?

Signing up as an affiliate for WeStopFear is completely free, apart from the work one needs to “invest” to go through the signup process. There is nothing you need to buy, and nothing you must pay to WeStopFear to become an affiliate. As an affiliate, you are not doing business with WeStopFear and WeStopFear receives no payment or banking or address information about the affiliate. You are doing business with the affiliate service provider.

Generally speaking, WeStopFear does not recommend spending money to bring the message about WeStopFear to your audience.

This is the reason why various clubs, associations, pet or horse professionals or influencers who have their members or followers as audiences, and can thus bring their message to their attention without spending any money, through their web presence or email list, are the primary groups that WeStopFear is interested in having as affiliates.

It is hoped that affiliates will have the wellbeing of animals at their heart rather than just the willingness to make money, and the revenues they can generate will hopefully go into work to benefit pets and horses.

There is a reason why spending money to bring out your message can be risky, as the cost of advertising continues to rise. Let us assume that the purpose of sending out a message about WeStopFear is to get those who get their attention on said message to decide to sign up and become paid members of WeStopFear, and thus generate revenues for the affiliate. What will it take to convert a person to become a WeStopFear member?

It is known from marketing knowledge that it is very rare that people buy something after just hearing about it once. There is the so-called 5-11 principle, which means that a consumer needs to have their attention on an offer as much as 11 times, and for a total of 5 hours, before they are ready to buy. If you have the idea of reaching people through paid advertising, then you might need to reach the person several times which could become very expensive, meaning that the customer you generate will not be profitable.

So if you become an affiliate and send out a message once, don’t expect to make a huge amount of money just right there. You will probably need to hammer the iron and repeat the message several times, perhaps with different messages and content. This is why WeStopFear generates many different videos, reading content on the website, advertising banner to use, a book, and even more, which you can utilize.

You can generate revenue as an affiliate of WeStopFear. You just cannot expect much from just one try. You need to be patient and include the message again and again in your regular ongoing correspondence with our audience. It is not a sprint (100 meters), but not a marathon either (26 miles or 42 kilometers). It is more like a medium-range running competition (5000 meters or 10 000 meters).

That is why it is desirable that you can communicate with your audience without paying extra for each action.

Of course, if you really know what you are doing, and you believe you can reach a “hot” audience via paid ads and do it profitably, then by all means do that (with caution, step by step). It is just that generally speaking, the above is our advice for normal clubs, societies, professionals, and such.

Can we get revenue sharing by bringing in other affiliates?

The affiliate system that WeStopFear uses is single-level, not multi-level. (WeStopFear is NOT MLM- multi level marketing.)

This means that affiliates earn revenues from the paying users that they have guided to sign up by clicking on the affiliate’s affiliate link. There is no revenue sharing/splitting for bringing in other affiliates who then guide their audience to sign up by clicking the other affiliates’ affiliate link.

We hope that there are two main motivations behind an interest in becoming affiliates: 1. The hope that wider use of WeStopFear will be beneficial for the pets and horses whose owners are doing the therapy for them, and 2. The motivation that this will generate revenues for the affiliate.

If you spread the word and get other clubs, associations, pet or horse professionals, influencers to become affiliates, isn’t it a good thing that they get their affiliate share un-split?

* Proceedings are the total amount paid by the member at each billing event, minus the VAT/sales tax/goods and services tax that is remitted to the tax authorities in the member's home country, and minus the fees charged by the affiliate/payment provider service. Generally the proceedings are roughly around 90% of the amount net of taxes, in a subscription scenario. So, for instance if a member pays $120 in a country with 20% VAT, the VAT remitted will be $20, which leaves $100. The affiliate/payment provider takes around 10% of the $100, or around $10, so the proceedings are $90. With a 30% affiliate percentage, the affiliate would thus get around $27.
