Hello and welcome, [MM_Member_Data name=’firstName’]!

Is something going on?

Well, actually, nothing special is going on while you are going through the WeStopFear process. You are not supposed to be occupied with anyting in particular. All that is happening is that randomly, you and your dog hear noises of the kind that you can expect to hear both inside and outside your home. In the beginning, you wouldn‘t call it noises. You would rather call it „hummings“. Its the low humming sound of various phenomena that are well known to you, and you usually don‘t make any fuzz over and especially not at such low volumes. Our pets, however, don‘t know what these phenomena are and due to their genetic programming, may react with worrier, fear, panic or phobia. Just continue doing what you are doing. Did  you just hear something? Your dog looks to you with a question mark on its snout… No, nothing is going on. Just continue what we were doing…

Hello and welcome, [MM_Member_Data name=’firstName’]!

You are doing a great job!

Congratulations for now being a Premium member of this WeStopFear Simple Secure Steps member‘s website. Noise phobia is probably the least known, and under treated, among the seious problem that dogs and pets can be facing in our modern, industrialized world.

I believe that part of the reason is that the classical noise phobia therapy methods have been quite cumbersome to implement, (see here a video explaining the difference between the old process designs and Simple Secure Steps). I hope that the simple, easy and more secure process design of Simple Secure Steps will open up possibilities for „ordinary“, busy people, who own dogs, to conduct this therapy, for the better of their dogs.

Have you already started by trying to play the sound therapy files in some places you chose? Don‘t worry if you think the sounds are very low. They are supposed to be so low that you can hardly hear them. Then they are supposed to increase in volume in subsequent Steps.

Please be aware that you will not receive an email when access is opened to the content of each of the subsequent Steps of the Simple Secure Steps. You are supposed to pass through each step at the speed that suits your dog. There is a great variety in how much time it takes for a dog to become used to these sounds. There is no competition in that. Just do this at the pace that suits your dog. The time that passes between the opening  of each step represents a dog that is quite quick in getting used to the sounds. The goal is not to delay those particular dogs.

Anyway. Don‘t procrastinate. Start right away and make this a habit. That way, the process will become easy and you will finish it successfully!

To your success, and your dog‘s well being!

WeStopFear for Dogs – Simple Secure Steps member’s web solution.

Finishing the threapy process successfully for your dog means that you need to play the sound at just about full volume and good clarity in the end, as much as that is possible. The audio devices and their loudspeakers need to be able to do that. Often times, a good portable audio device can do the job in all places, while you may want to use stationary stereo or home movie system if you have one, and the car stereo in the car.The Audio Devices page gives you a more comprehensive look at this issue.

Think about… #24

“The ultimate victory in competition is derived from the inner satisfaction of knowing that you have done your best and that you have gotten the most out of what you had to give.”

– Howard Cosell

Hello and welcome!

This is the 24th of the pre-organised weekly Posts For Pep Up, that accompanied you as you implemented the WeStopFear noise phobia therapy. You may have finished the therapy process successfully a long time ago, or your dog may be one of the gentle souls that take a long time to accept all the strange noises you have played. Either way, I hope you liked this celebration of dogs that you have been served. If you stay on the email list, you will continue to receive more emails once in a while. These fall under two categories: First there will be emails that remind you of repeating playing the sounds, both for periodical maintenace, and also to remind you of potentially scary events that may be nearing close to your location. Secondly, there may be emails that are sent out now and then, with content that may be of your interest. There is no set final date for this. You will continue to receive those as long as you remain on this mailing list, as long as the emails are sent out.

Are you happy about WeStopFear? Would you tell others?

I hope from the deepest part of my heart that you are satisfied withthe WeStopFear Simple Secure Steps program. I really tried to create the best solution I was able to, after some very extensive analysis, thinking and development. If you think that this system served you well, you may consider tell others about it? If you are happy, then it just might serve others as well.

Are you unhappy about some aspect? Please tell me about it!

If there are some aspects that you think may deserve improvement, or were downright not good enough, I urge you to contact WeStopFear (see the Contact link at the bottom of every WeStopFear web page), and tell about it. This will be very well received. Nothing is perfect under the sun, and especially not a new product line! Just look at any long standing product line, and look at its first version! The first cars? They were obviously different, and a lot has been improved since. I really want to know what can be improved upon. You are doing other dog owners a big favor by revealing to me your findings, rather than perhaps airing officially something that may be rather simple to fix.

“The secret of getting things done is to act!”

– Dante Alighieri

 Hello and welcome!

Some people may ask you, isn‘t it strange that a dog or other type of pet may be deadly frightened because of sounds that you know quite well. These are just everyday things. But the point is,which you can well explain now from what you know, that your dog or pet may not know that. They have no idea what this is.

Imagine that you are alone, walking down a shady street in the night. Suddenly you hear some strange noise behind you. You don‘t recognise what this is. You quickly look behind you, but you see nothing. The strange sound is heard again.  It is easy to foresee that your heart skips a beat, as fearful thoughts start racing through your mind. A scary moment, right? The point is that sometimes, your dog is in a similar position. But if it knows these sounds, is used to them, and has never experienced anything frightening in real, then the sounds won‘t matter.

Your dog doesn‘t have an intellectual or facts based understanding of many phenomena, but it is the habit that makes your dog feel indifferent, and secure. This is the message that you can tell these people. And if they own a dog themselves, you can tell them about WeStopFear and your experience of this program. You may even get your own program for free in the end, if you have created an affiliate relationship with WeStopFear and you can advise them to go through your link. See the Get This For Free page for more information.

“If you spend too much time thinking about a thing, you’ll never get it done.”

– Bruce Lee

Hello and welcome!

Where are you in this process? Have you finished it and your dog hopefully, for the time being, has become indifferent to sudden sounds. This is because the sounds are no longer unknown, they now belong to the „white noise“, or the coctail of daily sounds that don‘t matter because they neither summon anything positive nor negative. That is how life should be. Then you can safely focus on enjoyable pastimes with your dog. Bear in mind, however, that your dog‘s tolerance will decrease over time, if he never hears these sounds. So maintenance is important, or playing these sounds again once in a while. Please take look at the Aftermath page for more on that.

Think about… #21

“Productivity is never an accident. It is always the result of a commitment to excellence, intelligent planning, and focused effort.”

– Paul J. Meyer

Hello and welcome!

These texts that appear in these Post For Pep Up are written beforehand. Some dogs, and dog owners, will progress through the Simple Secure Steps noise phobia therapy rather quickly. Other will take more time, and some will take a much longer time than others. Thus, we don‘t know if the person who reads this post has finished the process or not. (If you have, you can safely turn to the Breed Briefing below for your enjoyment). It isn‘t necessarily better to go quickly through this.

A dog that takes time to progress through the five Steps may be the best defended against an unnecessary onslaught of fear because of unknown sounds. At this point, it becomes good to look into the future. A dog isn‘t finished with this for the rest of his days, not more than a human has become physically fit, and doesn‘t need to do any physical exercise after that. Maintenance once in a while – it is much less intensive than the original noise phobia therapy process – is very advisable. Otherwise the sound indifference will vane. Please turn to the Aftermath page for more on this.

Famous persons who own or owned a Siberian Husky dog

  • A Siberian Husky is a strong statement for a dog and signifies a person who knows where she is going. That certainly goes for Danica Sue Patrick, the most successful female auto racing driver in history, who owns a Siberian Husky.
  • The Husky is a slightly mysterious creature, with its strong character gazing at you through blue eyes. The Husky is a good match with multitalented musician and artist Jared Leto.
  • A-list actor Ben Stiller, whose movies have grossed more than 2 billion USD, showed the world the meaning of style in the Zoolander movies, and has no less style when it comes to his choice of dog. A Siberian Husky is his companion off set.
  • Singer, actress and fashion icon Rita Ora certainly gets attention with her Siberian Husky.
  • Miley Cyrus is different from the rest of the pack, and instead of the standard lapdog on her arm, she strides through life with her Siberian Husky dog.
  • Known as Jacob Black in the Twilight Saga film series, actor Taylor Lautner chose a Siberian Husky as his canine companion.

“You don’t actually do a project; you can only do action steps related to it. When enough of the right action steps have been taken, some situation will have been created that matches your initial picture of the outcome closely enough that you can call it ‘done.’”

– David Allen

Hello and welcome!

Our goal is clear: A potentially safer and more enjoyable life, for the rest of your dog‘s days. As you go through the process, it may happen (depending on when during the year you started the process), that a well known, scary event or time of the year takes place. If this is the case, you are advised to take a look at the Scary Event page, that contains special advice on how to make such events more bearable to dogs that haven‘t gone fully through, and successfully, a noise phobia therapy.

These are even advisable for those who have actually finished the therapy. For instance, if some time has passed since finishing, then the dog owner should bear in mind that the immunity for these sounds are bound to decrease slightly over time. This is similar to if you stop completely to visit the gym, and just lie in your sofa doing nothing, then your body‘s strenght and endurance will vane. Maintenance is a necessity.

Page Suggestion: The Scary Event Ahead page

Throughout the year, there may be dates and events near you that are scary to dogs and other animals. This can include fireworks shows near you, for instance around fifth of July (in the U.S.), Halloween, Guy Fawkes night (in the U.K.), new year‘s eve, various town or county festivals, and others. This can also include the thunderstorm season. If your dog has not yet completed a therapy process, or if you haven‘t done any noise phobia therapy at all, then special action may be required to make the event or chain of events more bearable for your dog. The Scary Events Ahead page offers you the best advice on what to do that we could find. This includes both a few, short points, and what is probably the most comprehensive list of advice available on the Internet. You can simply choose what you want to look at!

Think about… #19

The one who wins the race in the long run is usually not the strongest or the fastest, but the one who has tried the hardest.

– Anonymous

Hello and welcome!

Teamwork! This process can be seen as teamwork, given that there are more than one person living in your household, or perhaps are affected as neighbors who hear these sounds as well as yourself. Try to have everyone happily on your team, where each person knows the best conduct to maximise the chances of success. You might say that your dog is the most important team member. At the same time, your dog should not realise that there is any organised action taking place. The sound should appear as by coincidence, withouth the human part of the household being in any way connected to them.

  • Scandalously famous beauty queen, singer and actress, Vanessa Williams, saw the beauty in Great Danes.
  • Diver Greg Louganis win gold medals at the 1984 and 1988 Olympics, practicing diving. He owns a Great Dane, who probably dives his great paws into the pool too.
  • Actor Adam West has also seen the big charm of the Great Dane breed.
  • Old movie stars Jane Mansfield and Hedy Lamarr also owned Great Danes.
  • Few were as feared during World War I as the Red Baron, the German ace pilot. When at home, his dog companion apparently was a Great Dane. Another well known German from the same era was reichs chancellor Otto von Bismarck. He was also a Great Dane owner.

Think about… #18

“Whether you think you can or whether you think you can’t, you’re right!”

– Henry Ford

Hello and welcome!

Are you peering into the future? What do you see? Hopefully, if you are still doing this, you see the final goal which is the successful completion of this noise phobia therapy process. The success is when your dog doesn‘t care about various sounds, instead of becoming frightened, even deadly frightened. In the latter part of the process, hearing these sounds may become a bit difficult. These are not pleasing sounds. They can actually be annoying. At that point, it is important to foresee the successful and enjoyable finishing point. And if you have already finished this process, you can most agree that is was a light and joyful feeling of relief to look back and realise that you had done this correctly and successfully. You should be praised if you are.

  • If you see a man running on the beach, all dark tanned with a red float under his arm, with two fluffy Pomeranians following just behind, this may just be actor David Hasselhoff and his two Pomeranians, Jenny and Killer.
